Characterization of Nanostructured Magnetite Thin Films Produced by Sol-gel Processing

Nanostructured Fe3O4 thin films will be deposited on the quartz and silica-glass substrates by using sol-gel method. Film thickness will be controlled by adjusting the solution parameters and spinning time. Phase identification, thin film thickness measurements, surface morphology studies and magnetic property measurement will be made in the project for the characterization of the magnetite (Fe3O4) thin films. XRD, SEM, EDS and VSM will be used in these characterization processes.
