The major aim of this study is to select, design and/or to propose a feasible and as well as appliciable method, or series of methods, for the beneficiation and recovery of zinc (Zn) and lead (Pb) that are present in Kayseri in disposed ÇİNKUR leach residues (LR) which are about 1,200,000 tons. In this thesis, as candidate methods, in general hydrometallurgical techniques, in particular water and hot sulphuric acid leaching, brine (NaCl) leaching and sodium sulphide leaching processes are going to be investigated experimentally.
