Production and Characterization of Porous TiNi Shape Memory

In this study, porous TiNi SMAs
will be produced by combustion synthesis. The effect of processing parameters such as particle size
of reactant powders, preheating temperature, and compaction pressure
on the final product will be investigated. Microstructural
characteristics, mechanical properties and, transformation
temperatures will be determined using optical microscopy, SEM, XRD;
compression test; and DSC, respectively. |
